About me
Edward is a 4-time CISO, currently serving as the Head of Security at Luminary Cloud where he is responsible for Security and Compliance. Edward is an information security leader with over 25 years of experience establishing cross-functional, practical security approaches that fit company culture and business goals.
Prior to joining Luminary, Frye was CISO for Aryaka Networks where he was responsible for all aspects of Security, GRC, Privacy, IT, and Business Systems. Before that, he served as the head of security at Elementum SCM, Inc., where he was responsible for establishing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and obtaining ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for the organization. Prior to Elementum, Edward built several information security programs for many SaaS companies, including BlueJeans, Valley Oak Systems, Ellie Mae and PaymentOne.
Edward is currently a board member and Director at Large of the Silicon Valley chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Information Security and Assurance.
