Sandra Lambert is the CEO of Lambert & Associates, located in Los Angeles (
http://www.lambert-associates.com), where she specializes in cybersecurity & business continuity consulting, with an international clientele. She is an internationally published author & lecturer on information systems security. Prior to full-time consulting, she completed a 5-year assignment at Citibank as Vice President & CISO with responsibility for developing the corporate information security program.
She was also associated with Security Pacific National Bank for 15 years, where she created the function and served as Vice President & CISO. Ms. Lambert was responsible for SPNB's global information security program, including policy development, disaster recovery planning for their data centers in three states, security administration of mainframe & midrange processors, security awareness training, & conversion of business acquisitions to SPNB information security standards.
She is the former Chairperson of the Board, Founder & founding President of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), is a Distinguished Fellow, member of the Honor Roll, & was elected their first inductee into the Hall of Fame. She is the current Chairperson of the Board of the ISSA Education Foundation. Ms. Lambert was awarded the 2009 (ISC)2 Tipton Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to the information security profession, and the 2004 SecurE-Biz Pioneers Award in recognition of outstanding performance in securing the National Critical Infrastructure.
She holds an MBA, MS (Mathematics), & was an accredited CISSP trainer as well as college level mathematics instructor.
